Little Swinger Program

2010 Little Swingers Program
4-7 years of age
When: Every Saturday and Sunday in June
Time: 5:00-6:00pm or 6:00pm -7:00pm
Maximum per class is 12
Cost -$30.00
Instructors: Shawn Miller, Doug Nutter

This program is designed to introduce young children to the golf course and its surroundings. Hampton members may enroll their children or grandchildren by contacting the proshop until May 20th. If space is available after this date, the program will be open to the public.
Good golf techniques will be modeled by the instructors with an opportunity for imitation and practice. In order for this program to be a positive experience, parental support and encouragement are necessary.

Sunday schedule:

• Go for a drive on the power carts with their guardian to see the course. Introduce them to the maintenance area, sand traps, water holes, animals, etc….
• Return to the driving range for instruction. Talk about safety, rules (basic) and show them how to hit the golf ball.
• Head to the putting green to end the day. Make that putt to win a reward.
• Ice Cream treats for all participants for a job well done.
